{This Moment} See Beautiful

I was touched by the way {This Moment} See Beautiful  came to be.. I learned about Lydia Mays and her See Beautiful through the wonderful blog Sugar The Golden Retriever.

This is our first {This Moment} See Beautiful post.  Although we were very sad yesterday , and of course, today because of our saying good-bye to Matilda Saturday, we had a long walk, and found this:

I reach my arms out to you

I reach my arms out to you

We had to pause. From this sculpture  came a powerful feeling.

All we were doing was exploring the neighborhood, just as Matilda used to do…

Exploring the neighborhood as we used to do with Matilda

Exploring the neighborhood as we used to do with Matilda

It seemed as though Matilda was giving the nod of approval from the great  beyond.

You are all beautiful

You are all beautiful

  1. So sorry to hear about Matilda. That’s a very symbolic sculpture. For sure Matilda was happy that you guys went for a walk. Lots of precious memories, Matilda will be remembered forever. Lots of Golden Thanks for joining our See Beautiful hop. Happy Seeing Beauty. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

Thank you so much. it is so nice to participate. It made me see the statue as symbolic. It was such a beautiful day!
(I definitely cannot figure out how to get the button and the thumbnails, but I shall simply smile and learn later! I hope we made it into the hop, but I couldn’t tell if we did).

We believe in signs from above, and that is for sure a sign from her. Glad you are out with the other pups trying to go on as hard as it is.

God bless you as you grieve Matilda, your post touched my heart..

  5. This is my first time on your blog, and I loved what you had to say about your wonderful dog. Sorry to hear you lost a great friend.

I’m so sorry for your loss of Matilda. I too found See Beautiful through Sugar’s blog and look forward to it every month. That is a cool statue, I’ve never seen one like it. Perhaps Matilda guided your feet that way.

  7. I love that you felt drawn to this statue on your walk. I am certain that Matilda is looking down and enjoying the walks in her own way. She can’t be there physically, but she’s there, nonetheless.
Glad that you participated in See Beautiful. I normally do, but didn’t manage to this time.

The statue is amazing. Yesterday we tried to find it again, and when we did, this group of children came running up to us. They surrounded us, and gave Livvie and Kessie so much love.
