Black and White Sunday

Recently Sugar with her Golden Woofs gave  us all some tips on black and white photography. Mom was looking for something that was screaming to be a black and white photo. She thought,”Why not do the counterintuitive? Take a picture of a brilliantly colored fall tree in black and white?” We’re not sure if it was such a great idea, but….

Well...all photography used to be black and white...

Well…all photography used to be black and white…

So we thought that mom should take a picture of us in black and white. After all, we have mostly mostly black and white coats.

Livvie says  that she wanted to pose for this “dramatic” photo taken outside our favorite cafe. She was feeling a bit sad that she couldn’t have any more treats.

It is amazing how photography has changed from those black and whites on the thick fancy paper to something everyone does and has digitally. Nice photos, though. Happy Sunday

It really is amazing. It certainly is a lot easier to shoot many shots, and just pick what you like, rather than having to go into a darkroom do all that work to get some prints.

Your ears look so perky and happy in the last pic.
Why I bet you could hear a treat hit the ground from a mile away.

Sorry you couldn’t have any more treats. You conveyed your feelings about it very nicely in that photo! :-)

Thank you Donna. i do work on my technique. I try to remind mommy that the vet said that I do not have to lose weight. She said that the most I have to lose is a quarter of a pound. Isn’t that funny!
