Monday Mischief: Greyhound Shenanigans

Mom did go to the Greyhound Friends of New Jersey Crafts Show and Pet Expo on Saturday. We are sad to say that she returned home without a greyhound. We had been waiting with bated breath, wondering who would prance through our door.

Kes cute

Mom then told the story about the greyhound reindeer, namely the Acosta family. There were maybe five or six of them (greyhounds). Mom just couldn’t tell. They were all wearing this attire and , well, acting mischievous!! Mom was laughing so hard that she couldn’t get good pictures.

She met a set of twins named Darryl and Dale, and they looked exactly like Matilda, only younger.

I'm Dale. I look exactly like Matilda!

I'm Darryl, Dale's littermate!!! Hahahaha! Which one of us is which? BOL!

The only thing she brought back was this beautiful t-shirt, and special peanut butter treats for us. That is OK. They bring greyhounds into the rescue every few weeks. So many were adopted, and it was heart-warming.

Respectfully submitted,

Livvie and Kessie

Can you believe this is a t-shirt?

  1. But a greyhound would make a great Christmas present!

Love the snood costume! That’s how those guys keep warm I guess.

  3. Flea says:

OMD! The antler sweaters are ADORABLE! The t-shirt is nice, too. :) Maybe next time!

  4. Thank goodness my Mum can’t knit or I’d end up with those ears too – for sure ! :)

    I hope you’re having a fun day,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

When the time is right a new greyhound will walk into your lives.

  6. Well, even if she didn’t come home with a greyhound, it sure seems as if she got her greyhound fix in. Love the photos! :-)

  7. Coming back with treats is pawesome! You’re lucky she didn’t come back with those hat thingys. But then I guess if I really short fur around my head and ears I might want to keep warm. Anyway, glad to meet you! ~Cooper the Cattledog

Hi Cooper the Cattledog!! Actually, I, Livvie have a hat but I don’t like it. Good thing mom didn’t come back with antler hats or snoods!! They’re actually snood-hats or hat-snoods. -Livvie

Aww! I’m sorry she came home empty-handed, but hopefully there will be a new Greyhound at your house soon!
