Monday Mischief : A Mysterious Tree-Fort in Prospect Park

Livvie reporting. Sunday was a glorious day that would later turn into Monday Mischief. We took a three and a half hour walk in the gorgeous Prospect Park. As usual, we came across some mysterious things. Its just who we are. We’ll build up to this slowly so as not to frighten you. We were walking around this huge lake. Mom wanted to see if we could circle the entire thing. At first it looked like this.

We were exploring and being ourselves, i.e. barking at other dogs we thought were suspect. Actually, mom was not barking. We were having a lot of fun making those skating motions after peeing, and simply looking around and sniffing  dizzying smells.

We had been walking quite a while when we spotted a strange phenomenon, as we are apt to do. We’ll just show it to you, and you can decide what to think.

Kessie decided to check out the unusual fort-like opening. I admire him for his bravery, especially considering everything he’s been through in his life.

What could be in there?

I watched while delicately holding up one paw, in case of emergency. We thought we heard small voices, and maybe the sound of climbing.

If you look very carefully, you will see what we found. There is a little elfin boy in the middle of the tree, and we found more under the tree using it as a fort! Kes reassured us that he would keep us safe as we edged away.
