As I write this post, I don’t know what will be happening with Matilda later on Sunday. I am about to go to sleep, and Matilda is resting quietly, but has had a hard day. She had a recurrence of an episode of extreme panting and difficulty walking. This time I could not get her to eat, and so I cannot give her any medication for her arthritis. Last time this happened, I thought I had lost her, but she bounced back. I’m not sure what will be happening this time. She only seems to be able to walk a few steps. We will all sleep, and then I will take her to the emergency vet if she hasn’t improved.
Such a sweet face. I’m sending good wishes your way, Matilda.
Thank you so much. It feels good to get such nice wishes!
Sending Lots of Golden LOVE. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
thanks for you good wishes.
praying that she is going to be ok. She is in our thoughts and prayers as are you
Thanks.
This is my first time reading your blog. I’m sorry you are facing this. She is a lovely dog; I’m partial to long-snouted dogs. My best to you.
Thank you Melissa. I love the long snouts as well. We appreciate your wishes.
Oh dear… You know you are both in my thoughts and prayers. I am tearing up here. Update us as you feel you can.
We are at the emergency vet. Her breathing was pretty bad, and her temp is way up, so she is on oxygen and they are cooling her down. More later. Thanks for good wishes and support.
