This is a picture of a quiet time of ease between Matilda and Livvie.
Today Livvie began looking around for Matilda, sniffing everywhere, and coming to me, looking up into my eyes. I sat with her and spoke lovingly to her. She eventually stopped, and began chewing on her chew-bone. Earlier she had tried to come with me when I left the house. I think it took this week for her to realize that Matilda was not coming back. Matilda has been out of the house before, a couple of times when she had medical crises. There was one time when she was hospitalized for two or three days. I would so love to be able to know what Livvie knows, what she senses.
Right now she seems happy, and is having fun wriggling around on her back.
Aww, sending hugs to you both!
Thanks!!!
I’m sure she misses her a lot, but you have each other, spend some extra time with her, spoil her a bit more than usual.
I am so spoiling her (and Kessie). Right now they are gnawing away on Jones Gourmet Dog Chews Center Bones! They haven’t minded the hour long walks either!
Beautiful picture. Hugs to you and Livvie.
Thanks so much
you are all in our thoughts and prayers
Thank you.
