Guardian Angel Matilda Recommends Adopting Lovie the Cairn Terrier (aka “Gloves”)

Hellooooo! Are you out there?! I'm cute!!! Adopt me already!

Hellooooo! Are you out there?! I’m cute!!! Adopt me already!

Lovie is a sweet little girl who thrives on your affection. She was rescued by a human guardian angel, and fell into the warm arms of Col.Potter Cairn Rescue. You can see her Intake Story here:  http://cairnrescue.blogspot.com/2012/01/cp-gets-winter-chill.html . They were so patient with her when she went to her first foster home. She was quite frightened. In their nurturing care, she emerged as a happy girl who does well on leash, is potty-trained, and will worm her way into any heart.  Watch her video:

She gets along well with other dogs, and even cats, and is a quiet, loving girl. She adores treats. Lovie is being fostered in Arizona, but the wonderful Col. Potter Cairn Rescue will transport her to you!  She is 9, and I remind you that these little guys live long, active lives. She also has an immune disorder that requires medication daily, but her foster mom says that she is easy to care for.

Treats! I love treeeeats!

Have a look at her profile, and while you’re there, why not fill out an adoption application and watch Lovie’s “nose-bump kisses” video.  http://adopt.cairnrescue.com/index.php#6090

This little girl is adorable and just needs a special home to love her. I know someone is out there for Lovie. Thank you Col. Potter for rescuing her so that she can have a second chance at life.

Our favorite pet photographer here in the area has Cairns. She has three of her own and is always fostering another. They are cute, but too small for us.

Sounds like you also already have a full house Emma! They do seem really sweet and playful and affectionate, though. Have yo ever had a play date with them?

Lovie has made such progress since Col Potter sent her to me! She was the worst of all my fosters, so scared and traumatized. But she loved being cuddled, so that’s how we spent a lot of our time. Now she’s ready for a Forever Family of her own.

I’m so happy that she found a place and person who is so understanding, and helped her be who she really is!!!! Now, onward to that yearned-for forever home and forever person and/or family!!!
