Hi all Snouts and Humans. Livvie here. As Matilda’s sister, I have taken it upon myself to do everything I can to cheer my human mommy up. In these black and white Sunday pictures, I was attempting to look as much like a greyhound as possible. I have to say that I do miss Matilda, but not the way humans do. It is hard to explain. We pups feel happy if there are happy things going on. We like food, our human(s), our other dog siblings, fun/running around, being petted and loved, dirt, stinky smells, toys…you get my drift. We feel a little uneasy if our human(s) smells like sadness or fear. We can offer cuddling and lots of grooming. We like to clean human faces and hands. We think it makes you feel better.
My doggy and human friends, if there is anything else you can think of that we pups can do, please give us suggestions! We need ideas that show “thinking outside the box”, or I should saying “thinking outside the crate.”
Thanks.
Love to all.
Goodness Livvie, you are just the cutest! It’s very sweet of you to try hard to be a Greyhound to cheer up your mom, but I know that she takes joy in you just being you.
I’d love to give you some other tips to help Mom feel better, but I’m sure that you’re already doing all you can. The most important thing is to stay keen to when she needs you close.
Hugs to all of you!
Thank you Pam. If I could, I would come right through the computer and give you lots of Rat Terrier cuddles. We are all sending love and hugs to you, and hoping that you feel happier soon.

That is an awesome photo, the shadow makes it “halloweeny”. Time is about the only thing that can help, that and snuggling.
Thanks, and thanks!!!
Livvie, your mommy needs you to be her Livvie, not her Matilda. Roll over and let her give you tummy rubs. Put your chin on her knee and look up at her with big puppy eyes. There will always be a Matilda Place in her heart, but you can’t fill it, and you don’t need to fill it, because you are a perfect fit for the Livvie Place that’s right there next to it!
What great words!!! Thank you. I do have a pretty big personality! I have been scouring mom’s face with kisses! That is signature Livvie. (I have a good vocabulary too). That one day, though, my snout, Matilda, well.. you can understand, I’m sure.
