Little Paul has come through adversity. He was used for many years as a breeding dog. He came to Col. Potter Cairn Rescue after living for many years with his love, Joanne, another Cairn. Like Paul Newman, his namesake, he is extremely handsome and also friendly. See his Intake Story HERE.
He’s an older dog, 12 to be precise. His foster mom describes him as “a lot of love in a small 10.6 pound package.” He’s always at the ready to be petted and to hear some kind words. He’s an eager crate-goer, and sleeps there at night. His house-breaking is an improving work in progress and he is currently using a belly band. Paul loves toys and has the energy of a much younger dog. He walks nicely on leash, and travels well.
Paul and Joanne did need to be separated because of different needs. Recently Paul had some dental work done and is feeling better and better. His move to a second foster home was unsettling for him, and he went through some adjustments. Now he is back to his loving self just waiting for his very own loving home. Maybe you could be the one to make this tiny, sweet little guy happy!
See his profile HERE, and why not fill out an adoption application as well. By the way, Col. Potter transports their pups to other locations, if you are not close to where Paul is being fostered (Virginia).
