We ventured out into the snow and had a few snafus. Livvie’s booties fell off and Kessie’s coat fell off. Kessie was limping because his little feet were cold. In this picture, Kes looks like a zombie because of his poor little blind, “misty” eye. Ok, note to self: search for better booties. Slather Musher’s Wax on more thoroughly!
Livvie and Kessie decided to walk in formation. They enjoyed sniffing the yellow snow!

Boy I’m glad I don’t have to wear clothes
We enjoy our clothes when they don’t fall off!
no boots for Dakota, I just wipe his paws in warm water and dry them when he comes in. Don’t think he would let me put boots on him if I wanted to!
I got the boots on Liv, but she was walking in the most hilarious way. She was picking each front paw up and waving it out to the side. They came off pretty fast. All the salt on the sidewalks just kills their little paws. Today was better with Mushers Wax!
Awww! Such adorable pics!!
Even my huskies paws have been hurting them in the snow the last couple days. The weather has been terribly cold!
Happy B&W Sunday!!!

Wow! I think that the salt that is on the sidewalks is what is bothering them!
Yes, you have to try PawZ dogboots. Stay Warm. Happy Black n White Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Ok, we’ll look into them!
Don’t you just hate it when your clothes fall off? ;P
I second Sugar’s suggestion! Try Pawz! Petal wears them when we go bike riding because running along the rough, bumpy roads was really harsh on her feet. I give her a treat after I put on each boot and she doesn’t mind them much. Once we get going she doesn’t even notice them. They come in a pack of… 12, I think it is. So they may be worth trying.
Great pictures! I hope they enjoyed themselves despite their clothes falling off! 😉
Yes, I hate when that happens!
I just checked, and the booties that fell off were PawZ. Liv and Kes seem to be between sizes. The small is too small, and the next size is too big.
Awwwwe….they look super cute!
Thanks!
I hope you can find some suitable boots. Can’t be any fun walking in the salt with naked paws. While I’d love for my dogs to get a chance to see the snow and maybe play in it I don’t think I’d like to have to put ‘shoes’ on them before we went out in it. Hope the weather improves for you soon … or do you have snow all winter?
It depends on the winter, but it is possible for us to have it all winter, even sometimes in April. That would be unusual though!
It looks like a frosty outing, but I must say that you both look smashing in your coats!
