This little guy is so cute and has such a heart-breaking story that I expect you to jump right up and go to the Col. Potter Cairn Rescue site and fill out an adoption application! Just kidding. But really, whoever brings this pup home will be very lucky. See his Intake story HERE.
He’s young (31/2), handsome, and a great cuddler. He walks with minimal pulling on a leash, and has a zest for exploring. He gets along with other dogs. Yes, he does have epilepsy, so he needs a special home. His foster mom has worked diligently with the vet to get the doses of medications right. He has been seizure-free since December 18th! That sounds like a good prognosis to me. See his profile HERE and why not fill out an adoption application while there!
Darleigh is an active boy, who loves to play ball! See his video .
Darleigh’s foster mom describes him as “tall, dark and handsome”. She adores his almost tangle-free fur. Even more endearing though is his sweet personality. He enjoys “curling up beside you or on your lap when you’re ready to relax.” He sleeps quietly in his crate at night.
Darleigh is in a foster home in Missouri, but Col. Potter Cairn Rescue will help you figure out how to transport him to your area, if you are not in Siberia. I think he will be swooped up pretty quickly, so don’t think for too long.
We are participating in Tuesdays Tails Blog Hop. Please join us there and feel free to post about a dog, cat, gerbil, bird, etc. Thanks to Dogs N Pawz for hosting and for incredible dedication to animals in need. Thanks also to Col. Potter Cairn Rescue for the amazing work they do.
Such an adorable boy! I am so happy that he found the right shelter and the best foster mom, and now I just know his perfect forever home is next in line!
Yes, I see a wonderful home in the near future for him!
