We have decided to join Heart Like A Dog’s Blog Hop, Follow-Up Friday.

This week we are following up on Kes’s training and his medical issue. We are also communicating to our blog friends about our absence, and fewer posts. You may remember that last Friday, Kes and Livvie  (and their human—moi) had some training. Kes did very well meeting other dogs, after a history of going insane and having meltdowns. We haven’t had a lot of practice since last week because of the snow, frigid temperatures, and  my bad cold. Today we had to take a visit to the vet because Kessie’s only functioning eye looked like it was in some sort of trouble.  I am happy to report that his eye itself is ok, but a structure on the outside of the eye is a little damaged, but is expected to heal. I ‘ll have to look this up and see what the name  of the little structure is. He is on antibiotic drops for 10 days.

The second part of the good news is that he met three different dogs there, all larger than he is, and all frisky, and he did fine!! He was acting like a perfectly dog-to-dog-socialized doggie-boy!! We are very happy.  I didn’t get pictures of this, but did take some of Kessie at the sun-filled vet.  There is a bird cage with adorable birds flitting about, and Kessie loved this! Sad news. The pictures are gone!  S0, other pictures ….

I have had very little time, and a hand injury, thus making it almost impossible to spend much time at the computer. This week I came down with a nasty cold! I miss visiting everyone’s blogs. I’ve also not participated in Sepia Saturday, Black and White Sunday and Wordless Wednesday as much as I’ve wanted to. Yesterday I missed Give The Paw To Cancer!  Arrgghh! There is so little time as it is!
