Blaine is one of Col. Potter Cairn Rescue’s sweeties. He has those eyes you could melt into, and is very affectionate. Blaine is a champion snuggler, and adores sitting in your lap. He will also sit next to you on the couch touching you with his paw. He is even content to be resting on the floor nearby while you work at your desk.
This wonderful guy had a good home for several years, but lost it through no fault of his own. He is now eight years old. Shouldn’t he be entitled to something so simple, a home of his own. See his Intake story HERE.
This little munchkin loves to go for rides in the car, and although he is being fostered in Indiana, he is free to travel. You and Col. Potter could problem-solve about how to transport him to your home town. Hopefully that will not be Siberia. Blaine is also crate-trained, and sleeps pretty well at night in it. He walks well on a leash. He loves to track squirrels and rabbits in the yard, and doesn’t jump up on people.
Blaine is a rather large Cairn, but is getting smaller after his fitness and diet plan. Even more than food, Blaine loves attention. He loves to be near his foster mom and dad, and will follow them around the house. They believe that he might do well as an only dog in order for him to get lots of attention. He does get along well with his foster sibs though. See his profile HERE, and why not fill out an adoption application while you are there?
Blaine has achy knees, but is doing better since he has lost weight. He is also not a fan of thunder, but his main focus, if you give him a chance will be to shower you with love and affection.
