Livvie reporting. Sunday was a glorious day that would later turn into Monday Mischief. We took a three and a half hour walk in the gorgeous Prospect Park. As usual, we came across some mysterious things. Its just who we are. We’ll build up to this slowly so as not to frighten you. We were walking around this huge lake. Mom wanted to see if we could circle the entire thing. At first it looked like this.
We were exploring and being ourselves, i.e. barking at other dogs we thought were suspect. Actually, mom was not barking. We were having a lot of fun making those skating motions after peeing, and simply looking around and sniffing dizzying smells.
We had been walking quite a while when we spotted a strange phenomenon, as we are apt to do. We’ll just show it to you, and you can decide what to think.
Kessie decided to check out the unusual fort-like opening. I admire him for his bravery, especially considering everything he’s been through in his life.
I watched while delicately holding up one paw, in case of emergency. We thought we heard small voices, and maybe the sound of climbing.
If you look very carefully, you will see what we found. There is a little elfin boy in the middle of the tree, and we found more under the tree using it as a fort! Kes reassured us that he would keep us safe as we edged away.
Monday Mischief is a Blog Hop hosted by Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies, and Alfie’s Blog. Thanks to them for hosting!
A tree fort, what fun. Did you go climb in it?
We’re not much for climbing big weeping trees!
Wow – it looks super green there! That tree is awesome. Though, not sure I’d peer inside, either. What about bugs?!
My sentiments exactly!!
Fun! I love tree forts… at least ones I don’t have to climb in or worry about falling from!
This could be fun without all the elfin boys!
Very cool. Did you all go in???
Ohhh nooo, all the elfin boys had claimed it!
You have to admit it is an awesome place for a tree fort.
Absolutely!
Wow, that’s crazy looking.
It was. Would love to back, and go inside!
Was he a magic sprite of a human? What a cool place to have a fort!! You are so very brave to explore it.
We think he was a bit of a sprite. We didn’t dare go too near!
That tree looks like a dragon rearing back on its hind legs!
Yes it does, doesn’t it!!
That looks like a pawsome place for a walk and an adventure!
Thanks! Yes it was!
It was a blast!
Yes we had such fun!
A fun walk on a beautiful spring day!
Yuppers!!!!
that is soooooooooo cool!
I know! We really wanted to go in!
Very cool tree and you were so brave to get so close!
Yes! Those little elfin boys were very edgy!
Good to see you having fun. I admit it does look rather scary though!
Harvey Button.
Yes, eeeeee.
That is so cool. My grown daughter would have climbed in there too!
