Meet Mcgraw, a Col. Potter Cairn Rescue pup in need of a forever home. Last week, Mcgraw’s brother Jaxton was the guest star! Today it is Mcgraw, the larger, but less bossy brother.
Mcgraw has this to say about his situation: “I’ve been with my brother for about half my life, which is about five years. We lived together, and went to the shelter together, and now we have this lovely foster home together. We fight a lot, so we are willing to go to separate forever homes, because we just want doggie peace of mind.
Here is our video:
(I enter after several seconds. My brother is hogging the limelight . Later You see my entrance, and I’m wearing a red harness. I get my foster mom to scold me for eating an acorn)!
My foster mom says to tell you that I’m smart and affectionate, but not overly clingy. I’m a sweet, sweet boy. Her exact words. I’m also in good health. I’m active and love to play. I might like to live with other dogs, as long as they aren’t bossy. I think I shouldn’t live with cats. She says that I have high prey drive, whatever that means! I love to give kisses, but you should probably think twice about it, given the things I like to chew on! I came into my foster home very skinny, and like so many pups like that before me, I can be obsessed with food. Also, like many others, I will eat anything off the floor, and take things out of the trash. Isn’t that what all dogs do, I ask you? She wants me to add that I eat poop too, but I know there are ways to prevent that! A little embarrassing I might add.
See my profile HERE and why not fill out an adoption application while there! I am a handsome boy, with thick, dark brindle, wavy fur and white eyebrows and mouth furnishings. I look a lot like my brother, and you can scroll back to the last blog post to see his close-up. Our foster mom thinks we might be half brothers.
Foster mom wants you to know that when I am outdoors, I am like the energizer bunny. I constantly check everything out. (The woodpile, the shed, and all the corners of the yard). I go on chipmunk hunts with my brother, Jaxton, and I have caught a mouse! By the way, I’m in Essex,Vermont, but Col. Potter will help you problem-solve about how to transport me to your town (unless you live in Antarctica).
Please consider doing that, problem-solving about how to get me to your town, your house, your lap!
Your new pal,
Mcgraw”
