A Sepia Series Story
as told by Livvie Rat Terrier
Mom told us that today was a special day. “I know mom”, I barked, “it’s Sepia Saturday! Watch out! Who knows where we could end up. With our luck, and all these firecrackers, we could fly off and up into the stratosphere somehow”.
“No”, mom said, “today is the day our puppy comes to us from Vermont”!
“Where, where? I don’t see a puppy. Where is she mom? Huh? Huh”?
I looked on the side walk.
Is she in that Yellow Cab?
I looked up into the now Sepia tress. “Mom, is she going to fly from the trees”? I squealed! “What is with this darned Sepia universe anyway. Please don’t tell me she is from Sepia Land, mom”.
Mom couldn’t answer any of our questions. We sat on the couch and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Just when we had almost given up, mom said, “She’s here”!
We went to meet her, and there was the cutest little pup.
Now she’s ours and we are hers. I love her and so does Kessie and Mom. I think she loves us too. She licked the inside of my ears and I chewed gently on her snout.
This is good, and I don’t even care that it is in sepia!
Thanks to Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network for rescuing Twinkle and letting us adopt her! Thanks to Matilda and Toby for watching over us all!
We are joining Ruckus the Eskie for Sepia Saturday Blog Hop. Thanks to Ruckus for hosting!
What a beautiful fur family you have. You’re latest addition is just adorable. Can’t wait to read about Twinkles adventures and how she adjusts to her new family.
Thanks! She is intrepid! We will be having fun!
Congratulations on your new addition.
Thanks Emma. I know you went through the same thing.
Well it looks like the merge into the family was successful. That is sweet them sharing the couch together.
Sweet William The Scot
Yes, Sweet William! Nice. Right now, they had a little tiff, but they seem to get over it.
I’m so excited for you! Congratulations!
Thanks so much! And to think that Twinkle has been on Tuesdays Tails twice, (as K.D.)
Welcome home little TwinkleToes…
You have made it to a warm and loving home..with your new mum and sister and brother…bless this happy home!! xxx
Thanks you so much Frances and little sweet Bumbley!
Twinkle looks like a great addition to the family! I’m sorry she got into a scuffle. Who was it with? One or both of the rat terriers? It’s probably hard for her to learn about Kes and Livvie’s special places and special toys. I know my late brother, Ozzie, had a special place that he would fuss at me for coming *near*! Anyway, WELCOME, TWINKLE!
