This is Twinkle reporting. I went to the Sean Casy Animal Rescue Halloween Bash today. It was my first time ever in a crowd. I did very well. I met some dogs I liked. One was named Fuzz, and was huge, according to me. I loved Fuzz and his person. Mom didn’t take one picture. When asked why, she replied that she didn’t feel like it! Can you imagine. A lot of people fussed over me, calling me adorable. They gave me treats! I wore a purple sparkly cape. Livvie attended also. She wore a velvet queen outfit and competed in the costume competition. Mom was proud of her.
When I arrived home, I noticed that sometimes Livvie and Kessie form a kind of sculpture with their bodies. It was a comforting observation.
This is what the three of us looked like after the Halloween Bash. We were a little exhausted. Kessie didn’t go because he despises crowds. It looks like Livvie is wearing a dog bone on her head in this picture. Mom says its things like that that make the world an amusing place.
Livvie had mixed feelings about the Halloween Bash. She felt that it was a bit noisy, and she didn’t care for most of the dogs. She loved one little boy who sat on the ground and held her and cuddled with her. She let me know that he was the finest representative of the overall human group. She gives me a lot of information and advice. I’m lucky to have her.
When she arrived home from the Bash, Livvie checked on Kessie, who turned his nose up at the entire thing. He can’t be in crowds at all. They make him sick.
This is how I’m ending my Black and White Sunday, safely tucked away on the soft couch with my family. I’m happy I’m here and I have a forever home and siblings and a mom who all love me.
