Please open your heart and consider adopting Pooh, an adorable 10 month old pup who is living in the animal shelter wishing for a home with people to love him. Pooh is extremely loving and friendly. He adores people (including children) and dogs. He has the cutest face, and his little mouth looks like that of a Shih Tzu or English Bulldog , with his bottom teeth protruding just a tad. He is kind of small, about thirty lbs, and is said to be a mix of shepherd and pit bull, but I think there is some other small breed in there as well. He has an attractive reddish coat.
This is his story. He was found wandering around in Westchester. That’s it. Imagine what that was like for him. The other part of his story is that he is special. His front paws are facing in a bit, and his back paws are facing out. It makes for a unique way of walking, which he seems to have mastered impressively. He was born with these issues.
This boy has been at the shelter for a few months, and is a favorite of many volunteers. Everyone wants to see him in a home where he would get to go to the park a lot, and not have to walk only on cement sidewalks, which seem to give his funny little paws callouses. This loving pup has only one flaw, which is that he guards his food. My feeling is that this can be worked on, and is not uncommon with dogs who have been abandoned and on the street.
I encourage you to contact Sean Casey Animal Rescue, or go over there, and do not wait. This little charmer won’t be around for long. He could be your loyal pal for many years to come.
