Hi everyone. Livvie here again. I think I am taking over as the spokes-dog for Matilda on her blog. I have been conferred the title of Honorary Greyhound by Matilda’s spirit.
Mom wanted me to tell you that yesterday I did a great thing. For the first time since I came home to mommy, I went to a street festival!!! This meant that I had to be around: 1.) Crowds, 2.) Lots of dogs, and 3.) Loud music. I did it! I was fine! I enjoyed myself and got a lot of treats and petting from friendly people. I was ok mostly with the other dogs. I also wore a costume and was in a costume contest, which meant I had to walk nicely in front of the judges! I was wearing a devil costume with sparkles and usually I am rather mischievous.
Mom was so excited that I was doing so well, that she forgot to take pictures of a lot of wonderful doggies in their costumes, and doggies at Sean Casey Animal Rescue who need homes. (The festival was given by Sean Casey). They are so wonderful! Mom says, “Go there if you live in the NYC area”! 153 E. 3rd Street, Brooklyn. 718-436-5163. Hours: Daily: 11am-3pm.
