Adopt This Adorable Charming Beagle

I feel sorry for anyone who cannot or is not able to adopt this dog. He looks a lot like my childhood dog, and his personality is about as sweet as they come. His name is Corona, and someone abandoned him at a Firehouse in Corona, Queens. He’s between seven and ten years old, and deaf. He has a clean bill of health. He’s completely laid- back and friendly, in the gentlest way. Corona has no startle response, and his main goal in life is to hang out with you and your friends or family . He also seems to enjoy walks, and is quite the spry boy. Although he doesn’t seem to know sign language yet, if you adopt him, you can join the amazing group of people who are teaching their beloved deaf dogs sign language. If you don’t believe me, go to this website: Deaf Dogs Rock.  He went out on the adoption van today, and seemed a little forlorn when he realized that he had to back in his cage at the shelter. I watched him from a distance, my heart sinking, wanting so badly for him to be cuddling with his new person (you?)….

Still, I am cuter than this picture!

So heartbreaking to see how sad he looks. Hope he finds a great home to spend the rest of his life in soon!

  2. Aww, he looks like such a sweetheart! That frosty face… I’m sure he’s on the high end of their 7-10 estimation. Or maybe he’s just had a rough life that gave him some premature grays.
The seniors break my heart the most. So glad to hear he is in rescue and safe while he waits for a new loving home, but I wish he was in a foster home at least, instead of at the rescue shelter.
Will share this sweet gentleman in hopes of helping him find a new family!

Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. He is really spry, so the grey might be deceptive. He doesn’t seem to have any arthritis. My little Kessie is only about four, and his face is very grey. Who knows. I do know that if I had fewer dogs, I would take him.
