Wolfie Is A Sweet Small Dog Who Needs A Home

What do I see out there?

What do I see out there?

As some of us buckle down and approach a solemn time of year, (Yom Kippur), we may want to think of a way we could improve ourselves. Adopting a small feisty but older dog seems like a good idea, if you are ready to do this. Wolfie is perfect. He is as friendly as can be, very well housebroken, and loves to take walks and he will even leap about a bit. He is a strong survivor, and we are guessing he might be a Chihuahua mix. His little face reminds one of a tiny wolfie. (Thus, his name?)

His story is that he was found wandering around by a police officer, who brought him to Sean Casey Animal Rescue. Wolfie was emaciated and had bad dental problems, and was mal-nourished. Luckily, he was nursed back to health, and is in excellent health now, and full of pep. He is another one who I would just scoop up if I didn’t already have three dogs. (That is my building’s limit).

So please, think about adopting this friendly, interesting, peppy boy. Always remember that small dogs live a long time, and I will remind you again, that my poodle Mouschi was about 18 when she died. For those of you observing, have an easy fast.  For everyone , “May you be inscribed in the book of life”.

What a cutie! I hope somebody sees what a gem he is and snaps him up!

  2. Aww, what a terrific little guy! And he’s been through so much. So glad that the officer brought him to rescue instead of the ACC.
He’s definitely an interesting mix. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a coat like that on a small dog. Surely someone will fall in love with him very soon.
    Will share him for sure!

Wolfie is really sweet. The shelter that the officer brought him to is quite loved around here. Lots of police and fire-fighters know about Sean, the wonderful young man who started and runs the shelter. Sean Casey Animal Rescue. By the way, a few days ago a child on the street thought that Matilda was a wolf!
